About the project
SLATVIN is a ready-made food-box and event-catering service in Vinnytsia. What makes it special is that it's two businesses in one site: an online store where people order ready food sets with delivery, and a separate catering line for events. We built the store on OpenCart — with a catalog, cart, card payments and a smooth checkout.
The goal
The site had to serve two scenarios at once: a quick food-box order to home or office — and a request to cater a whole event. Plus everything you expect from a food store: choosing by price, weight and prep time, pickup or delivery, and online payment.
What the project included
UX/UI design
We designed the structure for two models: a food-box shop and catering. A green, appetizing palette, product cards with photos of the box contents, and clear benefit blocks (delivery, payment, discounts). Mobile-responsive — food is mostly ordered from a phone.
OpenCart development
We built the store on OpenCart: a food-box catalog with price filters and sorting, a product page with weight, prep time and availability, cart and checkout with pickup or delivery, payment via LiqPay (Visa/Mastercard) or on receipt, coupons and gift certificates.
Catering & extra services
A dedicated catering section with event formats (coffee break, buffet, banquet, cocktail), a gallery and benefits. Plus equipment rental, takeaway dishes, a blog with useful articles, and a customer account with a wishlist.
